Invested at an early age in the Real Estate Market
Investing early in the Real Estate Market, amplified future growth. With that said, even with the existing high values in the market, we continue to look to purchase property to hold long term. It's the time in the market, not the timing of the market. -Unless of course, your doing a flip ;)
Diverse Portfolio
I was the high school student who subscribed to Money Magazine. I've always enjoyed strategizing my funds. That has lead to a diverse portfolio consisting of Long Term Rentals, Vacation Rentals, Flips, Ground Up Builds and Crypto - In addition to the traditional retirement accounts, pension, etc. I relish in putting together a Retirement Strategy, starting with goals and lining up the investments accordingly.
Why Invest in a High Market?
Let's start with the reasons to invest in Real Estate at all. Passive Income, Tax Advantages, Rental and Home Value Appreciation, Building Wealth, Inflation Hedge and owning Lifestyle Properties. Is now a good time to invest in the Real Estate Market? That depends on your goal. If you're looking to buy a home and sell it in the next couple of years, I would suggest buying a specific type of property and partnering with a Real Estate Agent who has experience in Investing. If you're looking to hold on to the property long term, then as long as the numbers make sense, yes now is a good time to buy. It's the time in the market, not the timing of the market. The high market has not stopped me from continuing to invest because I continue to see the long term value Real Estate offers my family for generations to come.
